About Us

The practice behind Revenue Integrity Architecture™.

Marketing Affects diagnoses structural gaps in revenue systems and builds the architecture that makes growth predictable, capital-efficient, and durable.

Where this comes from

The transition from traction to discipline is architectural.

The work spans Strategy, Signal, and Discipline, and builds the Mesh™, the connective tissue that turns isolated functions into a system that learns.

I have led go-to-market architecture, revenue operations, and value-creation initiatives inside growth-stage SaaS companies, PE-backed portfolio companies, and enterprise B2B organizations, including senior leadership at Cisco Systems. I have operated in environments where forecast accuracy, expansion economics, and capital efficiency directly determined enterprise value.

I built Revenue Integrity Architecture™ because I kept seeing the same structural pattern repeat: companies investing more effort and capital into revenue systems that were never designed to hold at scale. The frameworks, incentive structures, and operating models that produce traction are not the ones that produce discipline. That transition is architectural, and it is the problem I solve.

Who you work with

Operators, not advisors.

Phylis Miquel

Phylis Miquel

Founder & Principal

Phylis works with companies at critical revenue inflection points, where the transition from traction to disciplined expansion demands architectural clarity. She has led go-to-market strategy in environments where forecast accuracy, expansion performance, and capital allocation directly shaped enterprise value.

She aligns demand integrity, lifecycle coordination, and brand leverage so that revenue performance reflects structural design, not improvisation.

Engagements are led personally, start to finish. You work with the person who does the thinking, not a partner who sells the work and a team that learns your business on your time.

The bench

Deliberately small, with specialists on call.

A senior bench beats a large one.

Marketing Affects is a principal-led practice, not a pyramid. That is a design choice: architecture work depends on judgment built over decades, and judgment does not scale by adding juniors to a staffing plan.

Where an engagement calls for depth beyond my own, such as partner ecosystem governance, lifecycle instrumentation, or compensation design, I bring in advisors I have operated alongside, scoped to the specific problem and for the duration it takes. You are told who is involved and why.

The result is senior attention throughout, without paying for a bench you do not need.

Start with a conversation, not a proposal.

Every engagement opens with a working session, at no charge, to map your read of the system against the four-component architecture and decide together whether an Assessment is the right next step. If it is not, I will say so.
